Value of data highlighted at Housing Digital Live

As one of the country’s leading innovators in the small social housing sector, Thorngate was highlighted in the recent Housing Digital Live show with chief executive Anne Taylor among the main stage speakers.

Anne spoke to delegates about how data from multiple care, housing and building related sources can be used to understand and improve day-to-day operations and deliver a service with residents at the heart of everything.

“Data is hugely important in helping give us a complete picture of the health of our residents and our buildings and crucially it can predict potential problems,” said Anne.

“Care and specialist housing provision is too often averse to technical innovation and the benefits can go overlooked – but that’s not the case at Thorngate. We look at data generated to improve the lives of our residents.”

Anne said that speaking at Housing Digital Live had raised the benefits of data driven services with a number of operators from across the country.

“The more we can talk about the benefits of innovation in the social sector the better it will be for residents and operators looking to provide the best of care for people and to support the staff working in these organisations.”
