Anne Taylor, chief executive of the Thorngate Churcher Trust, has been shortlisted for the Innovation Champion category in the 2023 Housing Digital Innovation Awards.
The awards are in their second year and were launched to recognise the depth of innovation in the housing sector. Organisers said shortlisted candidates showcased the breadth of talent and expertise within the housing sector and even making the shortlist was an achievement in itself.
Anne was shortlisted for her work at social housing provider Thorngate where technology plays a huge role in ensuring residents of its sheltered flats enjoy the comfort, safety, and security of living in their own home.
“Care and specialist housing provision is too often averse to technical innovation and the benefits can go overlooked – but that’s not the case at Thorngate,” said Anne. “We look at data generated to improve the lives of our residents.”
The winners will be announced in February.
