It was an honour for representatives of the organisation to be invited to an event held at The House of Lords.

Registered Care Home Manager, Fiona Taylor, and Executive Assistant to the CEO, Tracy Brown, attended the event hosted by Lord Mark Price who launched his new book, “Work Happier” which explains the damaging impact of being unhappy at work. The book is a guide to help improve workplace happiness, something that we at Thorngate Churcher Trust have been actively working towards and recently saw us being featured in The Sunday Times Best Place to Work 2025.

Both Fiona and Tracy enjoyed networking with other organisations who were working towards the same goals, while enjoying the wonderful afternoon tea put on by the House of Lords staff, and they were fortunate enough to enjoy a short tour with a brief history of the building.
