Thorngate Churcher Trust’s Deputy Care Manager nominated for national award

Hollie Hall, Deputy Care Manager at Russell Churcher Court in Gosport, has been named in The Care Show’s prestigious Thirty Under 30 list for 2024. This program highlights young talent in the care sector and celebrates future leaders.

Since joining Thorngate Churcher Trust in 2023, Hollie has demonstrated exceptional dedication to ensuring the care home residents receive the highest quality care, as well as exceptional team management skills.

“I was shocked and proud to be nominated,” said Hollie. “My role is incredibly fulfilling, and I love interacting with our residents. They are such a fantastic bunch, and it means the world knowing that the work we do every day makes a difference and helps to improve their lives.

“It’s amazing to have my work recognised by such an important award. However, I couldn’t do my job without my supportive, dedicated and passionate team.”

The Thirty Under 30 awards ceremony takes place on October 10 in Birmingham, where personalised awards are given out. Award winners then benefit from becoming part of a support network of like-minded professionals to support their continued professional career growth.

Fiona Taylor, Registered Care Manager for the home, said: “I am so pleased for Hollie, what wonderful recognition for a committed young lady, who has a very bright career ahead of her. It gives me a sense of reassurance that care will remain safe and purposeful by the younger managers that follow. Well done Hollie!”

Anne Taylor, Chief Executive of Thorngate Churcher Trust, also praised Hollie’s contributions: “She’s an asset to our team and truly deserving of this recognition. We are excited to see Hollie’s work continue to positively impact our community and look forward to supporting her development along the way.”

Being shortlisted for the Thirty Under 30 award is a significant achievement, with a considerable number of applicants assessed by a panel of industry judges. Hollie aims to inspire future care professionals through her nomination, emphasizing the positive impact of a career in care.
