Registered Care Home Manager - Russell Churcher Court

Russell Churcher Court provides outstanding residential care in its sector. We now seek an ambitious, committed, innovative Registered Manager to take our professional care to new levels of excellence and set new best practice standards.

Thorngate Churcher Trust is a charity with a prestigious residential home specialising in high quality care for older people and those living with dementia.  We are seeking a Registered Care Home Manager who will work as a part of the senior management team and have responsibility for the management and success of the home which looks after 44 residents. 

A great track record and qualifications are desirable, ideally a QCF level 5 in in health and social care or equivalent.  We will provide extensive training and continuous professional development. You will have a genuine interest in people and making a positive long-term contribution to the home, residents and the expansion of the charity.

Ideally you will have:

  • A solid understanding of the needs of older people in a care home setting including CQC standards and their requirements for care, safeguarding and reporting.
  • Strong leadership and people skills with experience of managing large teams and several departments.
  • Experience of delivering high standards of physical and emotional care and promoting an approach to care which develops the health and well-being of residents.
  • Excellent communication, planning and reporting skills.
  • A track record of successfully managing a similar size home safely and in line with the required policies, processes, compliance and reporting standards
  • Experience of working with external multidisciplinary agencies.
  • A track record of driving best practices and change, including actively demonstrating our values to effect positive culture change.
  • A can do attitude, with a professional, caring and conscientious outlook.
