Kitchen Assistant

Thorngate Living runs a modern, well equipped professional kitchen. We currently have a vacancy for a Kitchen Assistant in our busy, friendly team.

At Thorngate Living we are justifiably proud of the delicious meals we make every day for our residents. Our award winning, well equipped, modern, professional kitchen caters for a range of dietary requirements, creating varied menus from fresh, locally sourced, seasonal ingredients.

The Thorngate Living kitchen, located at Russell Churcher Court care home, currently has a vacancy for a Kitchen Assistant. A typical working week is 22.5 hours. A smart uniform is provided. Candidates must be reliable, hard-working with an interest in catering. Knowledge of, and a demonstrable commitment to, Food Hygiene regulations and best practice would be advantageous as our kitchen is regularly awarded the gold standard for hygiene. Qualifications are not essential as full training and continuous professional development is provided.
